RPI, a leading producer of private-label personalized photo books has achieved certification by the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP). In addition to books, the SGP certified facility in Seattle, WA manufactures make-on-demand personalized greeting cards and stationery products for mass and specialty retailers.
RPI has one of the largest Hewlett-Packard Indigo digital printing facilities in the world and has been listed on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies for the past five years.
"SGP provides the only whole facility certification program for the graphic communication industry and goes well beyond the idea of simply recycling materials and using 'green' products," says Rick Bellamy, Chief Executive Officer at RPI. "Our customers are very concerned about sustainability, just as we are. We listened to what they had to say, and then put a great deal of effort into our certification initiative. Maintaining our SGP certification will provide an ongoing priority to operate in a green, sustainable manner."
"RPI's leadership in both the evolution of the digital printing and sustainability-driven best practices exemplifies their commitment to being an industry leader and a sustainable printing company today and well into the future. SGP is proud of RPI's achievements and we look forward to their continued leadership as a SGP certified printer," said Martine Padilla, Executive Director, Sustainable Green Printing Partnership.
