Jaspersoft Enables SaaS and On-Premises RFID Asset Management Company to Cut Reporting Process in Half and Achieve Significant Cost Savings
Jaspersoft, the intelligence inside applications and business processes, today announced that Fluensee, a leading provider of radio-frequency identification (RFID) asset tracking and supply chain management solutions, has successfully deployed Jaspersoft as the reporting engine that powers results for its RFID-enabled enterprise asset tracking, returnable asset management and yard management solutions.
Fluensee's solution empowers a wide range of customers, including logistics and transportation companies, breweries and various manufacturing facilities, to more efficiently track the status of high-value assets and save money on their respective bottom lines. Using Jaspersoft, Fluensee was able to rapidly build a library of more than 200 standard reports from which customers monitor the status of their assets. Jaspersoft enabled Fluensee to reduce the amount of time required to develop and deploy customer reports by more than 50 percent.
Fluensee's customers include logistics and transportation companies, breweries and various manufacturing facilities, each of which have specific requirements for their reporting metrics. Jaspersoft's SaaS-based, multi-tenant solution has enabled Fluensee to offer individual reports to customers on an on-demand basis, something it was previously unable to do - and which was traditionally seen as one of the more time-consuming and tedious processes for its engineers.
"Jaspersoft's multi-tenancy reporting has allowed us to pick and choose from a collection of more than 200 standard reports that cover different business processes to expose to users without having to customize our software for each customer," said Eddie Shek, chief technology officer for Fluensee. "This alone has allowed us to cut the amount of time we spend on developing and deploying reports and analytics by 50 percent. It's invaluable to see that kind of impact on our bottom line and know that we've actually improved our overall reporting functionality to boot."
One of Fluensee's customers is Linen Technology Tracking, the leading provider of linen tracking solutions for world-class hotels and resorts. According to William Serbin, EVP of Linen Technology Tracking, the flexibility of the reporting functions allow its team to schedule specific reports that are automatically emailed directly to customers to ensure that they can act on real-time data accordingly. One such customer is Mr. C Beverly Hills, which has reduced its linen loss by 20% with the use of the linentracker® solution.
"Fluensee serves a diverse base of customers and partners, and it's imperative that they offer extremely customized reports that meet the needs of each," said Jim Bell, chief marketing officer for Jaspersoft. "Implementing a multi-tenant SaaS reporting solution has enabled them to better serve their customers by providing more visibility and control in their reports, while also saving their engineering team significant time and cost."
