Sustainable production has always been a priority at Gmund Papier. For example, the water consumption in paper production has been reduced by 70% in the last decades by means of an ozone purification plant and with the help of water power, solar energy and combined heat and power generation, up to 75% of the energy comes from our own production.
The Gmund Used collection once again underpins these efforts. Because Gmund Used is made from 100 % waste paper. The paper consists of 80% of a high-quality recycled pulp (DIP) bleached in the deinking process, which is FSC®-certified, and 20% of packaging material produced in Gmund, which is collected separately by type. This is a perfect cycle that turns already used paper into high-quality Gmund design paper. Gmund Used thus stands for optimal quality with maximum fibre utilisation. The collection convinces with new, strong colours. Due to its high strength it is also particularly suitable for packaging projects. The Gmund Eco certificate logo also guarantees that the production process is resource-saving.
