New Esko webinar addresses key factors affecting packaging supply chain in 2025

‘Packaging Trends Talk’ examines challenges and opportunities for 2025
Sustainability, cybersecurity and integration of AI will be amongst the key industry concerns addressed by packaging experts, when Esko hosts its annual Packaging Trends Talk webinar this week.

Just weeks after the publication of its 2025 Packaging Trends study, Esko, the global provider of integrated software and hardware solutions that accelerate the go-to-market process of packaged products, will be exploring the pivotal changes set to impact the packaging industry at a live global webinar on 19 February.
“This event is an opportunity for those working in the packaging supply chain to discover the key trends and factors that have the potential to shape the future of the sector,” said Jan De Roeck, CMO with Esko. “With a selection of technical experts and guest speakers from leading companies on hand, the Packaging Trends Talk 2025 will deliver actionable strategies to help businesses stay ahead of the curve in our rapidly evolving industry.”
Based on the findings of the company’s annual report, which gathered insights from nearly 500 experts around the world and from across the industry, the webinar will feature real-world examples and success stories as well as presenting an opportunity to engage with industry leaders and address crucial questions.
“We will be closely examining the key factors affecting the packaging supply chain in 2025,” said Jan. “The need to adapt to ever-evolving eco-conscious regulations and practices in order to achieve sustainability objectives – and indeed to be compliant with changing regulations – will of course be a key discussion,” he said.
“Similarly, the hot-button topic of AI will be a focus, as we look at how we are leveraging the technology to drive efficiency and accuracy as part of the digital transformation journey.
“We’ll be closely examining cybersecurity and the increasing importance of protecting packaging data in a cloud-first world,” said Jan, “and we’ll also be discussing how the market forces influencing design and production are causing global packaging shifts.”
