With PersPACKtives on to new markets

On 27.8.2020 members of the PersPACKtives e.V. (in formation) met with external guests for a first working group meeting on the topic "Future Markets" at the Leinehof in Göttingen. The expert panel dealt with packaging for novel energy sources.

In order to further develop the future market of e-mobility, industry experts from companies at all stages of the value chain met in a working group. The experts discussed in detail why special packaging for new types of energy sources, such as batteries for e-vehicles, is needed.
The participants also addressed the requirements for the transport of lithium-ion batteries. Storage for critical batteries was also analysed. Possible fire protection solutions for these batteries were also discussed. The working group jointly developed a strategy and defined technological and economic needs. Finally, they derived objectives and outlined a first roadmap.
Dirk Masuhr, Chairman of PersPACKtives e.V., informs: "The event promoted a targeted transfer of know-how. It also enabled business contacts to be made within this interesting future industry. Our association started focused on the goal of developing and manufacturing innovative products in the areas of logistics and packaging together with its members".
PersPACKtives e. V. is the network for innovation and technology development in the packaging and logistics industry.
